Holy sense of normal

Ok, so the office is officially set up at home. Blue-grey walls, packed bookshelves, closet slightly full of the other odds and ends, a camera bag and tripod. After two months, the Mac is hooked up again, and the goal will be to keep the desk spartan save for the blinking lights of the Internet.

It feels good to be surrounded by clean walls, taller trim and so many books. Omaha is cold and rainy today. I spent the whole of the work day watching a presentation online and listening to a conference call on the same. Tomorrow I'm at an all-day off site meeting. Wednesday will be a half-day of the same off-site fun.

Since I went to work at 6:30 this morning, I left around 4. And man, is there ever a lot of time in the evening when it's just you and no cable. I tried to watch some sitcoms, but the acting on "How I Met Your Mother" was sucking something fierce. Back to organizing.

I'm sure I'll forget, so let me just say that this Wednesday, November 12, will be my 7th anniversary of Working. I started back in Lancaster in 2001, and it's been a long weird trip ever since.

Dude, the 3 series totally rules. The whole driving experience is the best.
Do you have one? Do you like it?
