The worst picture, ever.

This photo of me (below) has been up on Punxsutawney Phil's Web page for a few years now. Well, ever since I went up there my junior year of college. Let me explain this photo, though. That day that we drove up there it was bitterly cold. And it had rained a good bit as well. So while I look as though I weigh 300 pounds, it's actually quite a few layers that I have underneath my coat. No, seriously. I also wrote an epic poem in The Pitt News that isn't available online about the event. I didn't realize until we went up there what a huge party Groundhog Day is. But I'm glad to have gone, just to say I was there.

What I've read (most recent on top)

  • Boomsday by Christopher Buckley
  • Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer
  • Blindness by Jose Saramago
  • Blackwater by Jeremy Scahill
  • The Nasty Bits by Anthony Bourdain
  • Friday Night Lights by HG Bissinger

Who is this?

It's me, Rehan. Male. 29. Brown, overweight. Mechanical Engineering degree. Pittsburgh sports fan. Married to Maria, father of Asim. Project manager for an engineering consulting firm. Finally to the point where I really enjoy my job. Regular bike rider.
