Y'all are losers

After helping buddy Nick with some easy housework, we went over to a sports bar last night so I could watch the Pitt-USF game. (Hail to Pitt! We won!) Anyway, as I said, we went to a sports bar. One big tv, many small ones. About a dozen people in there, probably could have held a hundred. Anyway, got the Pitt game on the big tv (score) and noticed other sporting events (Cubs game, Utah game, golf) on the other channels.

And then they also had the debate on.

The VP debate.

On two of the televisions. Not a big deal. Fine, it's news. Something crazy might happen, and you will want to say you saw it.

But then there was the table next to ours. Six people, clearly organized, who had gathered to watch the debate.

At a sports bar.

Y'all are losers.

We are in Nebraska. Not in DC. Or anywhere in the beltway. Do not come to a bar to watch the debate.

But why not? It's on, it's ok.

Then don't cheer at the tv. Don't high-five your buddy. Don't jump out of your seat. Don't laugh at comments made.

It's a sports bar.

They give you these little speakers to put on your table so you can hear whatever channel you want. So naturally I continued to turn ours up since they cranked theirs.

But seriously, people. Make your little blue-and-red cookies at home and keep them there for your party.
