Hood is almost done

The last step for the hood install (which um, has to happen this week) is to cut a hole in the exterior wall of the house and then route the duct through there. Last night after I got back from another fun weekend in Minneapolis, I formally attached the hood and its parts to the wall. I put the wire in conduit and then sent that through to the attic. So one duct connection and the electrical bits, and we'll be in shape.

When I was up in Minneapolis, I managed to get myself to the Ikea to buy some toys for the kid and a small table and set of chairs. I ripped out all the trim in Asim's room last night, so the painting and re-install will also happen by the time I leave on Thursday.

Photos of the hood are on the flickr account.
