A little trip down south for the weekend.

We had a chance to go to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum out near Dulles. Never been there until over the weekend. My parents took me to the one on the mall a bunch of times growing up. This one is pretty sweet (aside from the $12 parking) because it's free and has plenty of great aircraft. I'd like to go back there and really read through everything. Here's a Concord that they have on display there. And yes, it's full-size, just like the space shuttle enterprise they have.


This is Maleeha after we pushed her through the museum. She managed to do some walking as well. The museum is in a large hanger, so even if the parking lot looks terribly full (and I doubt it ever will) there's no large crowd sensations.


There's a really sweet sculpture outside of the museum. I took a whole bunch of photos of it. It's the most beautiful thing out there, amidst the highways and corporate parks.


Here's what you do: Go to the Gap Outlet and put on some cow ears. Cute, guaranteed.
