Just to let you know

We spent the day Sunday moving out of the apartment in Ardmore and back to Philadelphia. I was a bit concerned when the trip started out with me forgetting my credit card and driver's license at the UHaul place. I hate UHaul. When the woman called me (in the truck) to let me know, I asked if I could have another truck since the one we had didn't have air conditioning. "No. We don't have any more trucks." Well, at least the windows rolled down and it wasn't raining. But it was rather hot.

We took Route 30 all the way into town since I did an in-town move (it was cheaper than renting a UHaul One Way from Philly) which wasn't so bad. A nice easy drive. Walz and Eric helped immensely with the furniture-moving and in a few hours we were on our way back down Route 30. Much nicer after the sun starting going home.

Of course I'm totally expecting to get a phone call this week from my boss in Conshohocken telling me that I'll be back in the office soon and could I start there again in a week.

Let the commuting begin then, I say.
